Every semester I’ve taught at Fleming College, one of the very first things I did for my students was curate a YouTube playlist of recommended project management videos. It was a simple way to reinforce concepts, offer different perspectives, and give students high-quality explanations they could return to anytime.
Those playlists always included several videos by David McLachlan. He has a real talent for breaking down project management concepts clearly and calmly, without oversimplifying them. His content consistently helped students connect theory to practice.
I’m not teaching this semester (which I genuinely miss), but this video showed up in my feed this morning and it’s too good not to share. If you work in project management—or are preparing for certification—I strongly recommend giving it a watch.
My copy of the PMBOK® Guide, 8th Edition hasn’t arrived yet, but it should be here by the end of the week. Once I’ve had time to review it, I’ll be sharing my thoughts and key takeaways in a blog post next Tuesday.
